So on my way home from hanging out with Sophie in Chinatown, this stranger struck up a conversation with me about my hat. He jokingly offered to take my hat when I get sick of it. And I subsequently told him about how I doubt I'll be able to give it away. Why? Because this piece has acquired quite the sentiments over the few years. Its holds a collection of memories. And if I possess it for as long as I can, the collection will only grow. And that's the beauty of clothes. Its like they absorb history each time you wear it.
