Discovered these gems on this memory card and couldn't believe that I haven't shared. Asian-Mexican fusion tacos, fried mac n'cheese with bacon, fruit tart with coffee, and then embarrassing enough- we got McDonald's fries and sodas. Down to earth way of celebrating.

Homemade donuts and coffee refills. We really go to that cafe for the atmosphere. Zoli liked the 50s layout and vintage machines. I just like the idea that no one is ever there besides you and your company. An antique mall adventure afterwards. Thoroughly enjoyed the chaos of the place. Clutters of old things sectioned into different walled off booths. If only I had the means to satisfy all of my heart's desires.

My friend Derek and I used to do hang out shoots back in the day. After starting college and jobs, we sort of lost sight. He continues to pursue his passion for photography and is really branching out towards the bigger and better. We met up yesterday in Noe Valley (cute as a button neighborhood). Walked around trying to find the best houses. Came up to this daydream blue one right as its owners were coming out. Perfect timing.

Keeping things simple this weekend. Currently watching Annie Hall and finishing off the Haagen-Dazs in the fridge. I've been in kind of a rut/crisis- just don't know which direction to go with clothes. This used to be somewhat of a fashion centered journal, but has since evolved into more of a dialogue of "life" photos. I feel like all these scattered facets and pieces of my 360 have yet to be molded together. Its just a bit flat. Kind of feeling dissatisfied with failing, but what can you do except change.

A Lost Generation

Finally got to see Midnight In Paris. I waited so long that I almost forgot about it. So glad I ended up catching it at the theaters. The feeling for a generation of people separated from actual realization made me want to do something with my present state. You'll understand if you've seen it. I almost wanted to revisit all those writers and artists from the 20's. Because maybe with new insight, I will have more insight.

Was lucky enough to road trip it up to Lake Selmac this past week with Zoli to hang out with his family. Camped out for three days at a hippie music festival. Did nothing but bask under the plentiful sunlight and eat healthy foods. Came back as a brand new woman.
